Equipment Repair & Maintenance

Are you looking for a meaningful and rewarding volunteer position to help our community's kids? Look no further than NWCA!

We are currently seeking handy volunteers to help maintain and repair the equipment shed at Westshore Estates Community Park.

Regular checks and repair of equipment is what we need most as there are many bikes that need simple things such as seats tightened, air added to the tires, etc.  Please contact our Sports Director Clayton Kam at SportsNWCA@gmail.com for more details and to make arrangements!  Most tools will be provided and you will be responsible for your own transportation to and from.

It's a great opportunity to give back to our community and the kids sure appreciate it!  The shed is open all the time and works on the honour system but we need YOU to keep it in order!

The Good Food Box

Starting November we are looking to become a pickup location at Killiney Beach Community Hall,

for the third Thursday of every month,

to subscribers of The Good Food Box.

In order to make this program run and Killiney Beach Community Hall added as convenient local pickup location we need a volunteer to pick up the bulk order on the third Thursday of the month between 8am and 10am from All Saints Anglican Church, 3205 27 Street in Vernon, to Killiney Beach Community Hall for volunteers to sort and distribute.

The Good Food Box Society is a volunteer-run, universally accessible produce buying cooperative that increases access to affordable local vegetables and fruit through community partnerships, while strengthening our local food system.

Order Schedule

Please visit The Good Box website to order your box.

Pickup days are the third Thursday of every month.
Cut off for orders is the second Tuesday of every month at midnight.

Orders made after the cut off will be processed for the following month’s pickup day.
